Great review. I'm starting to respect Edge a lot more now. Looks like they're didn't put a blind eye to all the flaws like the others did. Most reviews have pretty much said it's God of War 2.5. Same button mashing gameplay with average to weak AI but with AWESOME presentation. A solid 8 is a great score for this game. And yeah Bayonetta deserves the 10 it got.
But so far in the race of GOTY, Mass Effect 2 is the easy winner.
Even gamers agree that MW2 is a better game than MAG. I'm glad that people outside this fanboy jungle are smart enough to see that. Good to see Mass Effect 2 continue to sell well. They're around 3 million sales already. Very impressive. 360 games just sell better.

Well you can go ahead and throw Killzone 2 out of this debate because even yourself can clearly see that this game is miles ahead of Killzone 2. This beauty is only possible on the 360 baby. For being a darker game, you can clearly see it's much better than Killzone 2 and much better textures than GOD3. 360 still has a lot of punch left.
I expect a few "shovelware" titles but not much. Microsoft is putting a lot of money in NATAL and developers will see this and follow with big titles. I would love to see a gun game where you have to dodge incoming attacks like in the arcade with next gen graphics. Rare is already rumored to be producing a few big titles with NATAL. The one thing that is known is that Natal will get a lot more support than any other motion gimmick than arc and before it.

Dead Rising is easily one of my favorite games this gen. So much fun with that beauty. I still like to play it once in awhile.
